Chicago Valley Line TrailThis is a featured page

Chicag0 Valley Line TrailWork has been going on for a couple of months now and Chicago's latest bicycle trail is coming along nicely. The new bike trail known as the Valley Line Trail runs through the neighborhood of Sauganash on the Northwest side of Chicago. The trail is about 1 mile on running from Bryn Mawr on the south to Devon on the north between Cicero and Pulaski. Getting to the southern end of the trail is a bit of a puzzle as it is well off the beaten path but your best chance for parking is around that area. There will also be access points at Sauganash Park and at the intersection of Thome and Kostner.

Although the trail is currently under construction it is for the most part done. There is still construction being done erecting new bridges over Rogers and Peterson. Most of this will be finished by the end of the year and the final touches will be added in the spring. Although the trail is somewhat short it is a great addition for residents on the northwest side of the city to get out and get some recreation.
